JOHANNESBURG - Alleged criminal kingpin Vusimuzi Matlala's trial has been set for July 20.
His wife Tsakane, however, has abandoned her bid to have charges against her dropped.

Cat and his co-accused are in court facing multiple counts of attempted murder.
The court is also considering representations by Nthabiseng Nzama, the daughter of one of the alleged hitmen.  
The accused are expected back in court on 7 May for further disclosure.
